Ingredients

¾ cup popped corn kernels
1 tbsp peanut oil
1 tsp salt

Preparation process

Heat the oil in a saucepan on medium high.

Add two or three kernels into the oil and cover. Cook until the kernels pop, then add the rest of the kernels.

Cover the pot again and remove from the heat for 30 seconds. Place the pot back over the burner.

After the kernels begin to pop, gently shake the pot back and forth over the burner.

Once the popping slows to 5 seconds between pops, remove from heat, pour into a bowl and serve.
