Quick and Easy Naan (Indian Flatbread)

Naan is a staple of Indian cooking, and probably the most commonly eaten bread on the subcontinent. This great chef gives simple and clear instructions for making it without eggs (but it does include dairy, so it isn’t vegan-friendly). I love the fact that this recipe doesn’t require many ingredients, and all of them are available at a local grocery store.

Naan is an incredibly versatile flatbread that goes well with lentils, chickpeas, curries or vegetables. Before I’d seen this video, I’d always baked pre-made frozen naan from the store, but making it from scratch is much more tasty (and rewarding!). I highly recommend serving this version masoor dal; you can find a great recipe for it here.
