Samosas are pastries (usually fried, but sometimes baked) that can be filled with any number of vegetables and spices. This recipe shows how to make samosas with onions, green chiles, chana masala and a few common spices. The chef does a great job of showing how to make an all-purpose roti crust, so if you don’t have a taste for onion, you can experiment with whatever flavors you like best.
I highly recommend frying these with canola oil to lower the amount of saturated fat. If you’ve never enjoyed samosas, this is a great way to get started!
