“Not Tuna” Pâté & Crudités

Do you (or your vegetarian friends) ever miss the flavor of tuna? This “not tuna” pâté recipe replaces fish with nuts, seeds and celery to create a pâté that recreates the familiar tuna salad texture with healthy vegetarian ingredients. As a bonus, this video also shows how to cut vegetable crudités for the perfect side dish. When making this dish, I like to make a sizable amount of the pâté so I can pre-prepare a variety of small lunches throughout the week.

The chef in this video recommends that you mix the pâté with a Cuisinart, and I agree! If you’re in the market for one, I would recommend this model, which has an attractive price – and is itself attractive enough to make a great-looking addition to your kitchen. Maybe a Christmas gift idea? You can check it out here.
