Homemade Waffles!

Ahh..home made waffles! Who can resist them?

This is a simple recipe that is easily made at home. Laura even shares a great tip: we can wrap the waffles in plastic wrap for those hectic week day mornings and pop them in the toaster for a great breakfast. No more buying frozen waffles!

Of course adding a fruit compote made with berries or other fruit instead of maple syrup is a great option.

Here are the ingredients, compliments of Laura’s web site.

2 cups of All Purpose Flour
1 ½ Tbsp of Baking Powder
2 Tbsp of Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs
½ tsp of Salt
1 ½ cups of Whole Milk
½ cup of Unsalted Butter, melted
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract

Ready to throw out that old waffle iron? (We had one many years ago that, every time I plugged it in, it threw the breaker on the electricity box and we had no lights!). Check this great one out.
