Homemade Juice – for Healthy Skin!

With spring around the corner, it’s time to get back into the swing of making fresh, healthy juices! This video is great because it shows not only the steps to making the juice, but also the benefits for the skin and emphasizes using locally-sourced ingredients. Drink up!

Ingredients

2 Cups of 100% Apple Juice/Cider (depending on the season)
10 Strawberries
3 Large Oranges
3 Small Celery Stalks
10 Carrots

Preparation process

Shake the apple juice until frothy

Rinse the strawberries and discard the leaves, cut off the tops and slice into thin cubes.

Pour the strawberries and apple juice into the blender and blend for one minute.

Peel and dice the oranges and pour into the blended mix of juice and strawberries and blend until the color is consistent.

Slice the celery into 4 thin pieces, dice, blend along with the other ingredients for one minute.

Slice the carrots into thin pieces, dice, blend with the other ingredients for two minutes and serve. (Make sure the carrots are fully blended in.)
