Homemade Cheese Dip

We’ve all been stuck at a party where nacho chips are served with soft, processed cheese dip. For your next party, set yourself apart with this easy, tasty cheese dip, which can be enjoyed over chips or as a taco sauce. Your guests will be grateful – just make sure you have enough on hand. This will go quickly!

Ingredients

1 Can of Vegetarian Chili
1 1/2 to 2 cups of cheese – a combination of Monterey Jack and Mild Cheddar, sliced into thin strips
2 tbsp butter
3/4 cup whole milk or Cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper to taste
Diced tomatoes- 4-6 grape tomatoes or ½ Roma tomato

Preparation process

Heat the chili on medium in a saucepan until the chili is warm

Once the chili is heated, turn the stove down to medium heat and add the butter and milk (the milk should be at room temperature) and stir

Stir in the cheeses. Once mixed, stir in the tomatoes, pepper, cayenne and salt, making sure the sauce isn’t overcooked.

Ladle over the chips of your choice and serve.
