Fresh Chunky Guacamole

Most guacamoles consist of a basic avocado and cilantro mix, so if you want to impress your guests, try this recipe for chunky guacamole. It employs a combination of spices and veggies that takes this old standard to a new level. A wonderful party snack!

One of the secrets of this recipe (and why it is called “chunky”) is that the pepper and onion need to be finely minced for the perfect blending.

Ingredients

5-6 avocados, halved
1 bunch chopped cilantro
Juice of 1 lime
1 jalapeno pepper, finely minced
½ onion, minced
½ cup cherry tomatoes
1 tbsp Siracha
Black pepper, to taste
Salt, to taste
1 pinch of cumin

Preparation Process

Add all the ingredients into a large bowl and mash, focusing on mashing the avocado halves, being careful not to overmix.
