The recipes are incredibly simple, and perfect for a quick breakfast. I love that they employ omega oils and coconut water, both of which add essential nutrition without packing on too many calories.
The recipe calls for protein powder, and there are many powders available at nutritional supplement stores. Personally, I prefer whey protein, which gives me fewer digestive issues than soy. Because the recipe calls for fruit, I’d stay away from strawberry-flavored powders and stick with vanilla.
