Beautiful edible fruit bouquet-great summer gift

Ever priced a fruit bouquet in the store? The star in this video says she made this for under $10…and had fruit left over! This is a great gift idea for showers, receptions, holidays, or just for fun.
Make this the same day you are giving it away, so the fruit is fresh and wonderful. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 fresh pineapple
1 ripe cantaloupe
Leaf lettuce (frilly)
Grapes
Bamboo skewers

Other items needed:

Container
Flower foam
Melon baller/scoop tool (for cantaloupe balls)
Flower- shaped cookie cutter
Large knife
Cutting board

Preparation process:

Slice the pineapple into ½ inch disks. Use the flower shaped cookie cutter to cut out pineapple flowers from the center of the pineapple slice

Clean out the cantaloupe, scraping out all the seeds. Use a melon baller to create little balls.

Arrange the pineapple flowers and cantaloupe balls on the tip of skewer to create “flowers”.

Stick them into the foam, arranging as you’d prefer.

Put grapes onto the skewers and add them to the bouquet

Place the frilly lettuce around the side and fill in the middle to make it look more plant like.

Wrap in clear wrap and store in the refrigerator until you deliver it. Make this fresh the same day you give it away.
