Homemade Cranberry Sauce with Port Wine

Cranberry Sauce is one of the most important side dishes for your holiday dinner, especially if you are serving turkey. If you are like me, you grab a can of cranberry sauce because it is easy..but this recipe is very easy and much more flavorful and delicious.

You can make this sauce the night before and refrigerate in your serving dish. And of course you will have some Port left over for your guests after dinner!

Here is the ingredient list:
1 bag or 3 C. Cranberries
3/4 C. packed light brown sugar
1/2 C. orange juice
1/2 C. Port wine (red wine works also)
Juice of 1/2 lemon
